into the sea

Back from Seattle. Man, I’ve been traveling a lot. Had a great time. It was Ali’s birthday last Thursday. We saw The Dodos play for free at the Seattle Center thanks to KEXP. We got to go to Mt. Rainier for free (minus gas) because apparently the park is free 3 times every summer. There was also some sun while I was there and I got a sunburn when we went to Golden Gardens Beach. The Puget Sound is freezing. Also, Snoqualmie Falls was grand. Ooh, and 500 Days of Summer was a really enjoyable movie even though the indie kids said it was too indie. And last but not least, I ate sushi that may have been better than Sushi Masa.
Well, I’m back in SD. Things here are normal. Aaron and I are playing Gears of War. Jasso and I have been playing Tiger Woods 2010. District 9 was a really fun movie. Oh, and Aaron also turned me onto a game for the ipod called Geo-Defense which is addictive.

Nice pics brother. Mt. Rainier looks mystical with that foregrounded stratus. Good talking to you last night. Keep on keeping on.
Hey Little Bro, It was good to talk to you as well. Mt. Rainier does indeed look mystical. I’m not sure if those are technically clouds as I’m pretty sure 90% of our hike was in thick fog. We reached the top of our hike at around 2 and the sky cleared to reveal the mountain.
Happy Birthday, Mike! It is also nice to have a birthday fall on a Friday or Saturday, makes it all the better. What are your plans?
You’ve floored me again with your photographs, such neat colors, including the fact there is visibly every color in the spectrum present (the rainbow). I think the top photo is particularly nice for it’s undulations in the fore, mid, and background. Very Nice!
Thank you very much my good man. It is pretty sweet to have the old b-day on a Friday. I’ll likely eat and drink a bunch and then fall asleep fat and happy. My parents are coming up and we’re having dinner and then I suspect I’ll go have drinks with Jessica and JJ and probably Aaron if he plays nice.
I appreciate the kind words on the photos. I do have to edit to get those colors. Not too much though. Glad you noticed the undulations on the top shot. That’s what I like about it too!
