Hi, How are you?

My business cards say I'm a Graphic Designer. My work says I'm also a Front-end Web Developer. Both are true. But, generally speaking, I'm a fan of form & function (and apparently alliteration).

I've created this site to communicate with the larger world. It will be the place where all my design and online interactions come together to hang out. If you would like to throw words at me in either question or opinion form, I welcome you.

Work I’m going to call it work, even though it’s mostly just fun.

Omnitech, Inc.
Omnitech, Inc.

This is where I currently work! When I came to Omnitech, a good deal of the branding was already fleshed out. The spring / tornado / swirl logo is large and illuminated on the exterior of the building. At the time of my arrival, we also made a big push to utilize the logo as the center of our branding. I created two advertisements that used a combination of our logo and lightbulbs. Eventually, the lightbulb ads evolved to become the new Omnitech, Inc. site. My contribution to the site consisted of design, XHTML / CSS, and mootools implementation.

I had to go take pictures of guns today for work. It was nice to get out of the office. It was also nice to get behind my camera again. It has been too long.

the great white north

Well, it’s officially a white Christmas (season). I’m pretty glad I got a car with AWD on days like these. Decided to drive over to Mckennan Park on my lunch break and snap a quick photo. I’m so pleased someone took the time to put a real scarf on the Irish statue-guy. The temperature is up above freezing though. It’s a mighty 4 degrees out! It also appears that the Irish statue-guy is carrying a bucket of snow and pointing at his ring finger to indicate he’s not married. So, ladies, if you like a guy with copious amounts of snow who’s rather rigid but capable of withstanding the elements, here’s your man.
